Danielle has more than a decade of legal recruiting experience working with the most elite lawyers and firms in the world. Prior to co-founding Massari & Darling, Danielle was the head of operations for a leading legal recruiting firm. She also served as the recruiter for Gibson Dunn & Crutcher’s Orange County Office and was the President of the Orange County Area Legal Recruitment Association (OCALRA). Danielle is a frequent speaker at legal recruiting and talent conferences and seminars. Danielle’s unique background on both sides of the table (in-house law firm hiring and placing lawyers at leading firms) provides law firms and talent with the inside edge. Her background gives her deep insight into how leading law firms make in-house hires, as well as how to work with large law firms to ensure that talent matches the opportunity and firm culture. Alanna Darling has more than a decade of business and legal experience including positions as the General Counsel of an NYSE listed company, Managing Director of a bulge bracket investment banking firm, and attorney at Morrison & Foerster. These experiences uniquely position her to guide leading companies and firms as they evaluate legal talent, and to guide high caliber attorneys evaluating career opportunities. While at Morrison & Foerster, Alanna served on the Hiring Committee, enhancing her experience and understanding of how large law firms select and attract talent. Alanna earned her undergraduate degree from UCLA (summa cum laude) and her Juris Doctorate from Northwestern University. She focuses her legal placement practice on assisting senior attorneys, partners and in-house executives evaluating career opportunities, large law firm placement searches for key attorneys and partners and public companies searching for the right executive level talent.
